Mysterious form entry data appearing in database

  • Hi there, under the submissions area (after clicking on one submission in the list), alongside your-name, your-email etc. I have two strange alphanumeric values r3f5x9JS and 2fd4262f6913076df1ed58c1c52cf123. Do you have any idea what these are and why this is appearing? Strangely its not happening for all my contact forms, just some of them.

    Have you installed any captcha plugin?

    Sorry for the delay, i investigated and found is the wp-spamshield plugin i’m running. deactivate it and these additional field go away. Is there any way to avoid this or do I just need to accept it? Not a major problem, but would prefer it to skip these unwanted entries.
