    Hi Collapse-o-matic,

I love your plugin! This is the 3rd site I’m using it on. But this time I’m having an issue I’ve never encountered before.

If you go to https://manapottery.com/mar2018wp/ (my site in progress), you will see at the top of that page that I’m trying to add a collapsing box. In the collapsed box surrounded by a blue dotted border, the text says, “SPECIAL ORDERS, SHIPPING and RETURNS.” Underneath this text is a big space, which is apparently a paragraph, but I don’t want a paragraph there and I can’t figure out how to eliminate it.

    Can you please advise?

    Thanks!

    Sadly, no.

Tell you what, please set everything back to how it was when the blue dotted border was working. Switch the default tag back to span. Remove the CSS we had you add. It best we see exactly where that css is originally coming from.

Let us know when we can take a look.

OK, i have set it all back to how it was when I first contacted you.

The Attribute Tag in Collapse-o-matic settings is set to div.

Guess you can see the styles as well as the html in the collapsing box text. (My child theme style sheet is currently version 1.5.0.)

all I need is to remove the extra paragraph that somehow gets inserted under the link in the unexpanded box.

Where is the blue dotted border you were referring to with:

but the expanded box is now no longer inside the blue dotted border

It is there now. I think your browser needs refreshing. I don’t have any caching plugins installed on this site yet. My style sheet is version 1.5.0 – are you seeing that version?

    No.
CSS from your child theme is:
    …/themes/storefront-child/style.css?ver=1.4.2

We view sites in incognito mode so there is no cashing.
Can you verify that the dotted blue line is visible? Maybe include a screenshot to make sure we are not misunderstanding what we are looking for.

OK, so you are not seeing the latest version of this page for some reason.

I sent two screenshots by email (don’t see a way to do that here.)

Are you using a CDN such as Cloudflare by chance?

just in case this is useful:
    https://www.quora.com/Does-incognito-mode-on-Chrome-use-the-cache-that-was-previously-stored
seems like you’d have a good chance of seeing the current version of my page if you just closed and then re-opened incognito…

    no, not using a CDN.

    Hi again,

I figured out a way to disappear the extra space caused by the unwanted paragraph just by using css to shrink that particular paragraph outta sight – so it looks okay now.

It would be a cleaner fix if I would be able to remove the spurious paragraph, so if you do solve that, I will appreciate your updating this thread.

    Thank you for your time.

    Collapse-o-matic rocks!

    Susan
