Mysterious 404's?

    Yesterday I noticed some bizarre redirects that I thought were inserted by my Redirect plugin. I realize the Redirects were actually because my Smart 404 plugin was detecting “file not found” on certain pages of my site. The pages I’ve notice that “went missing” are high-profile well-trafficked pages. If I view the page from the dashboard I can see all of the content (which I had not changed) but if I try to view the page the Smart 404 redirects me to similar but related content.

    Yes, I tried disabling Smart 404. When I do that I get “page not found”. Any clues where to look for trouble?

    The end of the story is where I should have started. I disabled both of these plugins and reactivated both. End of problem.
