Seems working, I had to insert the name of the executable.
Still the slashes are spoiled or is this by design?

Humm… I have opened the task manager while Duplicator was creating the package however I did not ever see mysqldump.exe running during the process…

Try saving the path as C:/wamp/bin… With forward slashes. To validate it was created with mysqldump open the sql file Packages > Details > SQL file and at the top it will say something like MySQL dump 10.13 Distrib 5.5.27, for Win32 (x86)

    Hope that helps!

Cory, is a manually-created mysqldump archive from command-line (and added manually to the folder where the manual extraction occurs) valid?

Yes there are two identical copies of the database script. The first is a .sql file with the same name as the installer.php and archive.zip files, the second one is stored in the archive.zip file.
