    Hi there,
I installed a fresh wordpress and added only Wordfence. All database privileges checks fail.
I just changed the database prefix from wp_ to my own one.
Can’t see the sql log. I think it lacks support for a different db prefix???

  • Hi @dater,
Wordfence doesn’t lack support for different DB prefix. However, you typically wouldn’t change this after you’ve installed a bunch of plugins already. Try removing Wordfence completely and reinstall it. Let me know if that works!

Sorry for that misunderstanding. I changed the db prefix with the installation, not later on.
The only special thing is the installer from my hoster.
Re-installed with the same privileges errors at the diagnostics page.

    Hi @dater,
Do you have any other problems with the site except that it appears that there are no database privileges? If you had none, WordPress wouldn’t work at all.

In some cases we’ve seen hosts that refuse to show the database privileges and in those cases it can appear as if there are no privs when it’s actually just that they can’t be shown. Does that sounds like it could be the case for you?

    Hi @wfasa,
site runs normal. I installed another wp site with default prefix. This does not help so my conclusion was wrong.
Database Version is showing green, all privileges fail.
This has something to do with my hoster, as you said, so i will ask at monday.
    Thanks

What do i have to ask for? Is it the SHOW GRANTS command?
    I have phpmyadmin access.

    Hi @dater,
I’m not sure if that’s it or if you just can’t read INFORMATION_SCHEMA. Thus I’m not sure if you can fix it via PhpMyAdmin. I’d recommend you ask your host.

    Hi @dater,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while. I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved. Please feel free to open another thread if you’re still having issues with Wordfence.

    Thanks!
