MySQL Error

    Wordpress 2.9.1
    PHP 5.2.12
    MySQL 5.1.42

    I get the following error when attempting run for the first time wp-admin/install.php

    Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

    Path setup, PHP php_mysql.dll set in config, path to libmysql.dll set. Tracked down and checked every suggestion/setup detail here first. No luck!

    Any ideas or help appreciated!
