MySQL Error 5

  • When ever I try to view my site I get the below error. Does anyone know how to fix this??
    SQL/DB Error:
    [Can’t create/write to file ‘/tmp/#sql_1cba_0.MYI’ (Errcode: 5)]
    SELECT DISTINCT * FROM tweaks_posts WHERE 1=1 AND post_date <= ‘2004-05-23 01:50:05’ AND (post_status = “publish”) GROUP BY tweaks_posts.ID ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 5
    NOTE: Error Code 5 = Input/Output Error

    Have you consulted your web host about it? Also, it can be helpful for people if you post a link to your site as well, although in this situation… ??
    Can you access your site in ANY way? When you say “view” your site, to you mean after you make a post, or are you saying you can’t access your site at all?

    I could login, post new new posts but just not retrieve posts for editing or viewing. However My site is working now, but this has happened before so I was just wondering if anyone knew what Errcode 5 (Input/Output Error) is, and what to do when it happens. To me it sounds like is a server problem??
