MySQL database

Hi, newbie here (I apologise!)

My site uses blanco theme with woocommerce plugin

Regarding databases- do I need to worry about installing any databases or configuring them at all? I’m hoping that I don’t (!), but I just read something here (https://blog.selectdigitals.com/managing-your-wordpress-database) about having to manually install databases ??

My site seems to be working fine as it is (hosted on WP-engine), but I just wanted to check!

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks in advance
