    Hi,

    I see where Woocommerce requires MySQL 5.6 but my hosting provider currently (1and1) only support 5.5 so because of that my when adding items to cart is doesn’t work. Is there a workaround for this?

    Hello there,

    There is no work around for this, so I would recommend to switch hosting provider for you WooCommerce installation.

    Your site may run ok still, but the first time you talk to a support agent of a provider they will probably point this out and might identify this as part of the problem.

    Hello, you should really listen to @conschneider and leave 1and1.
    Trust me, you do not know yet, but they are the worst host on the planet for MANY other reasons.
