• I’m using the myMag theme which has its own extensive options section in the admin control panel.

The theme is great with really helpful customization options. However, after working just fine for a week or so, whenever I try to edit the theme’s options I get a 404 not found error. I’m stuck with the options I chose a week ago and can no longer make/save changes.

I contacted the theme’s developer who believes this to be a wordpress issue. Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    increasing your available memory?

    Thanks for the response. However:

    – I tried not only deactivating, but removing ALL plugins.

    – Memory in php.ini was already set to 64, no problem there.

    – I replaced admin & includes folders with fresh ones

    ….no change

How do I change the theme on my site?
