MyISAM vs InnoDB for MySQL on newsletter site
-
Hey guys,
Just wondering if you have a recommendation for which MySQL structure will perform better for a site with almost 20K subscribers- MyISAM or InnoDB? I get around 10 subscribers a day so there’s not a huge amount of writing to the database going on. It’s mostly reading. The database is around 80MB at the moment.
Also do you have any suggestions for the best settings to use in my.cnf? I’m on a VPS with about 1.5gb of ram, but I’m also hosting around 30-40 other cpanel accounts on there with mostly static wordpress sites.
Cheers!
