myGallery issue – [mygal=winter] don’t work

I really need a gallery in a blog I’m creating and have decided to try out myGallery.

I have two questions for you:

1. Where do I upload the files I downloaded from the wildbits website? It didn’t say anything, but I assumed to put them in the wp-content/plugins folder. The only thing I found strange when uploading to that directory was that the mygallerytmpl.php was outside the mygallery folder. Should I just keep it in the plugins folder and add the mygallery folder in there too?

Anyway, that’s what I’ve done and I managed to activate it in the admin panel. I’m just asking cause that might be what’s causing my other and main problem.

2. I followed the wildbits explanation and I can’t get it to work. It says I need to create a new page – good enough. But it also says that after creating a new gallery I should add this text to my page and save it: “[mygal=winter]”. I assume I can just change the “winter” name to what I want.

So after saving this, nothing happened. The only thing that appeared on my “gallery page” was the text I just wrote. Should I write that code in the html editor or can I just do it in the “easy editor”. I tried both, but neither worked.
