We are selling memberships and when a “Customer” logs in the “WooCommerce_my_account” page doesn’t look like all other pages (Bridge 6.1) the top and bottom areas along with our logo is missing and the navigation menu doesn’t work so the user has to go to the “edit_account” page by the link listed on the information on this page(also were do I find this text on this page since I need to change it!)

We are using Groups WooCommerce and Groups the latest versions. The users gain there access rights upon purchasing a membership product.

When a user with Admin rights logs in the “WooCommerce_my_account” page works nicely!

Also is there a way to save the last page for the user upon logout so the user returns to the same page upon logout?

    Anyone who can help?

    Thanks
    Anders

Hi again. After some further testing I recon that when the user name is a full email adress the “WooCommerce_my_account” page seems to work fine … So the issue is now then that the users who is puchasing memberships seems to be abe to register a username that is whatever text string … and that creates a MAJOR problem while loging in and not beeing abe to continue from the “WooCommerce_my_account” page … Any suggestions? Thx Anders

Hi. So strange this shit … further testing and it’s seems not to be possibe to get a username upon purchasing a subscription as full email address needed to get the “WooCommerce_my_account” page to work properly … Then the lost_password doesn’t work … ii maybe related to the username and since that is not a full email address it doesn’t work??? Stil the users ful email is stored … this drives me crazy …!? I must have done something real stupid since it can’t be this complicated and it has been working before …. Something must gone totally crazy after latest upgrades … ??? Then the logistics of email going out seems to be also strange … 1. One that is a thank for purchasing that is good 2. The next wich confirms the username (only the first name of the email address) with auto generated passwd (as defined). But this is not good … First of all it’s wrong in the orderflow due to that the users group assignments are not ready so if the user loggs in (by the way the link has a “.” so it’s not treated as a link in the email readers) it’s bad since the user casn’t go to the expected pages … 3. Next the third email when the order is completed … AT THIS POINT IN TIME THE EMAIL SHOUD HAVE THE CUSTOMERS CREDENTIALS instead of in the previous one! So can someone please clarify how one can get a good logistcs workflow in place and also how this stupid “WooCommerce_my_account” page can be sorted? Thanks Anders

    Hi,

You are posting this on the forum for Groups and I honestly don’t see where the issues you describe are related to Groups itself even though you are using the Groups WooCommerce integration.

You describe an issue with the appearance of the My Account page which would rather be related to your theme. I recommend you get in touch with the theme’s author for that.

For any questions related to the Groups WooCommerce integration, please note that this forum here is for the free Groups plugin and you should rather post questions about premium plugins on the appropriate support channel, which would be WooThemes Support where you can Submit a Ticket if needed.

For questions related to WooCommerce, please post on this forum (the issues you describe related to WooCommerce logins and usernames are not related to Groups).

    Cheers
