    Hi all,

My WP Dashboard is frozen due to this plugin. https://mydomain/wp-admin/index.php is completely blocked. I cannot move widgets around, I cannot expand or contract widgets as I normally do.

I know is your plugin because when I deactivate your plugin it functions perfectly, also when your plugin is the only one active and the rest inactive, the Dashboard will be blocked as well.

Please help. This is only from the last versions of your plugin, within the last month or two.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello??

    No response to this?

    Hi @zarza87!

If the latest version of The Events Calendar forces your website to crash, you may downgrade our plugin to a previous version: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

That’s weird though that your dashboard is blocked when only TEC is active. Which version of PHP are you using?

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

    PHP version: 7.2.12

It is weird, but could you have a look? I can maybe send you login credentials?

    Hello,
I still don’t understand how this plugin freezes my Dashboard and when I say the Dashboard is the place in the Wp Admin where all the Widgets appear such as: At a Glance, Activity, Quick Draft, WordPress Events and News.

When I deactivate your plugin they show perfectly again and even with all the others plugin inactive and your active the problem is still there.

Please help me address the problem.

You will see how I try to open the Screen Options and to drag new widgets but it is all blocked and frozen. I can’t do anything.

Ok, I just cloned my the website on different server and the widgets are available again. Do you have an idea why this could be?

I mean what could be the setting to change on the original server to make it work.

This are the server environments in both cases.

    Hey there,

    Thanks for reaching out ??

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties.?

If you enable WP_DEBUG, are you presented with any errors when this happens? Investigating your server logs may help give a clue to what’s going on here as well.

    Take care,
    Ed ??
