Is anybody here who is able to help me understand why my own legitimate genuine www.remarpro.com blog https://tomisthecat.ro/ CAN NOT BE FOUND in the Bing’s search results ?

Please, note that my www.remarpro.com blog is a respectable website (Google page rank 3)

I have signed in, to access my Bing account and I have used some Bing tools (“Bing SEO Analyzer” test and “Fetch as Bingbot” test). All these Bing tests had the following result :

“The request returned code: HTTP/1.0 403 Forbidden”

Bing has also successfully verified my ownership for my site https://tomisthecat.ro/
(I have uploaded an XML verification file on my web server).

I have also submited (tried to add) my site on Bing (click the following link) but it was still no result and my site continue to do not be found on the Bing Search Engine !!!

    https://www.bing.com/toolbox/submit-site-url

Could it be something wrong from the Bing server ?!?
Could you tell me what to do anymore ???

  • Do you have a robots.txt file at the root of your website? You could possibly have a line in their that is blogging the Bing bots.

Thank you very much, Bearded Ginger for your kindness and support.

I don’t speak very well English, but if you don’t mind, I would like to ask you a question, please : did you mean “You could possibly have a line in their that is BLOCKING the Bing bots” ?!?

ya check your robot.txt file, after that resubmit your blog on bing webmaster. it will work.

Thanks a lot, andrewscj, for your kindness and support.

I will ask my webmaster to check my robot.txt file and next, I will resubmit my www.remarpro.com site to Bing. I hope that everything will be all right.

I will keep all of you in touch if my site will finally be found in the Bing Search Engine.

Have a wonderful and blessed day !

    Hi Tomas,
Your issue does not look like it’s the robots.txt
You can see it here https://tomisthecat.ro/robots.txt
Sorry to say but nothing appears to be blocking bing from there unless you changed it since my post here.

    Hi, everybody !

First, thanks once again to BeardedGinger, andrewscj and leslierad.
I would like to tell you the exactly present situation.

The Bing Technical Support Team was partially right, I mean, they tried to explain me that the 403 forbidden error was from my ISP. To verify and check my ISP, I have used a smartphone, I have enabled the MOBILE DATA connection and I have signed in into my Bing account (in Bing Webmasters Tools). Next step, I’ve used the online Bing’s tool FETCH AS BINGBOT and it was resulted THE SAME 403 FORBIDDEN ERROR !!!
In that moment, it was very clear for me that IT WASN’T my ISP because I wasn’t on LAN / WI-FI connection from my ISP, I just was connected on the MOBILE DATA CONNECTION which is another Internet Service Provider.

I have contacted the webmaster of my web host service provider and he has confirmed to me that the 403 FORBIDDEN ERROR was from their server, it wasn’t from Bing server or from my ISP !!! My webmaster has removed the 403 forbidden error and asked me to use again the tools FETCH AS BINGBOT and SEO ANALYZER from my Bing Webmasters Tools account. Both online tests had the same excelent result : OK (no 403 forbidden error). You can see right here :

    RAW HTTP HEADERS :

    HTTP/1.1 200 OK
    Date: Thu, 15 May 2014 05:02:06 GMT
    Server: Apache
    X-Powered-By: PHP/5.4.22
    Connection: close
    Transfer-Encoding: chunked
    Content-Type: text/html
    Set-Cookie: MSID=ce9be95e-f8b6-42ad-bd9e-7148ee830ec5; path=/

However, my legitimate genuine website it still has the same status : CAN NOT BE FOUND in the Bing’s displayed search results.
I have contacted once again the Bing Team and they told me to create and submit a sitemap for my website. I have used a very good online sitemap generator, I have obtained the XML file, I have uploaded it on my web host’s server and I have submited the https://mywebsite/sitemap.xml in my Bing Webmaster Tool account. After few hours, Bing confirmed SUCCESS (no error) for my recently submited sitemap.

Unfortunately, for the moment, it’s the exactly same situation :
my www.remarpro.com website CAN NOT BE FOUND in the displayed search results of the Bing Search Engine.

Please, note that Bing has already confirmed my ownership for my legitimate genuine website with Google Page Rank 3.

Any ideas or suggestions, please ?!?
    I don’t know what I have to do anymore…

    SOME INFORMATIONS MORE :

After I have created the URL https://mywebsite/sitemap.xml, I’ve signed in into my Google Webmaster Tools account and I have submited my sitemap to Google which has needed ONLY SOME HOURS to approve (to index in the Google Search Engine) 471 LINKS from my all 500 URL’s sent.

Well, I don’t understand WHY the most popular search engine in the world (Google) has immediately indexed my 471 URL’s, during Bing DIDN’T even if my sitemap https://mywebsite/sitemap.xml was successfully sent by myself to Bing…

Is anybody here who is able to try explain me what’s going on ?!?
What is happening with the Bing Search Engine ??????

Have you considered posting to a Bing support forum?

    https://www.bing.com/webmaster/help/webmaster-support-24ab5ebf

It looks like you are doing everything correctly but this is a WordPress support forum. You don’t really have a WordPress problem. ??

    Dear Mr.Jan Dembowski,

I will explain you why I am trying to ask for help to anybody here on this www.remarpro.com Support Forum.

My first site was a WordPress.com blog created by me in April 17, 2009. It was everything all right when I have used my wp.com blog, I mean, my blog was immediately FOUND on all the search engines (first position of the first page) including Bing, UNTIL I HAVE MIGRATED TO www.remarpro.com (this year) and I’ve started a new life with a web host. I was very thankful because now I’m able to install (uploading .zip formats) different useful plugins, I can upload different kind of files (that was absolutely impossible on wp.com platform).

Now, I have two questions to all of you :

    1. WHY everything it was all right when I was working on the WordPress.com platform ?!? (my wp.com blog was always FOUND on the Bing Search Engine)

    2. WHY my actual www.remarpro.com blog CAN NOT BE FOUND on the Bing Search Engine ???

Is maybe there any compatibility problem between my www.remarpro.com and Bing Search Engine ?!? (I repeat : my first wp.com blog WAS ALWAYS FOUND on Bing Search Engine !!!)

That’s why I am trying to receive an answer here on this respectable www.remarpro.com forum.

Can you manually get bing.com to test your site? A 403 error is never produced by WordPress unless they are trying to get to something that is restricted such as /wp-admin.

If that’s what is happening (and your web server’s log will tell you that) then everything is fine. Those URLs are restricted.

This bing search by the way shows your site. Third down, you can’t miss it.

Mr. Jan Dembowski, please enter the search terms “tomisthecat.ro” or “tomisthecat” in the Bing Search Engine and you will see the sad UNBELIEVABLE reality : my URL https://tomisthecat.ro/ CAN NOT BE FOUND in the Bing’s search results !!! Please, note that your search results are about other “tomisthecat” blogs (including blogspot.com blogs) but you will find NOWHERE my legitimate genuine www.remarpro.com tomisthecat.ro website with Google Page Rank 3.

and he has confirmed to me that the 403 FORBIDDEN ERROR was from their server,

Yes. That’s expected. It’s always from the web server.

That’s a very difficult problem and a real mystery for me.

I really think you should not worry about it. Honest. ??

Here’s the thing: produce original content and they will arrive to your site. It’s that really that simple and worrying about Bing isn’t going to solve any problems.

You seem to have a bing problem not a WordPress issue.

I have an excelent very good original content on my website, so that’s why I don’t understand what is happening. I have 214 posts, 232 pages and 3571 comments on my www.remarpro.com legitimate genuine website.

Is it not a very good original enough content in your opinion, sir ?

I’m sure your content is fine and I apologize if I made you feel that I thought otherwise. That was not my intention.

My intention was simple: don’t worry about Bing. As long as you keep doing what you are doing then I believe you will be fine and there will be no problems. ??

Dear Mr.Jan Dembowski, it’s ok, no problem, don’t worry, please.

Anyway, I’d like to thank you because you care about my www.remarpro.com website.
I hope you will be right and one day, the Bing Search Engine will start to crawl my legitimate genuine website because for the moment, it’s really AN UNDER-CRAWLING ISSUE FROM BINGBOT which I can not explain anyway and I also don’t understand.

Have a wonderful and blessed day !
