A decent review takes a lot longer than 2 seconds. If you want as many people as possible to give you feedback, it pays to make it as easy as possible for them to view your theme. Not everyone has access to a development server or a test site.

It would also help if you added some more content. As I mentioned previously, the Theme Unit Test data can help in this regard and is specifically designed to help with theme development and reviewing.

• The green-on-green background and hyperlink colour reduces readability and may affect users with visual impairment more than others, but assuming users can change the background image, this shouldn’t be a problem.
• On the Sample Page, quotes do not close.
• The form submission doesn’t validate within the same page, which can be frustrating to click back and forth between pages.
• The RSS button in the footer uses the default cursor, therefore doesn’t indicate interaction.
• The magnifying-glass icon in the search bar seems to lack spacing, perhaps a larger input field may be necessary.
• The header is quite large considering the majority of space is used aesthetically.
• The colour scheme could include more white.
• The form fields on Sample Page are elongated, need they be this long?

Suggestions:
1. Style the sidebar differently than the content area.
2. Reduce transparency for content area.
3. Reduce header height, need for more content to be ‘above the fold’
4. Increase text size for menu labels.
5. Make H1 font color slightly darker.
