My wordpress site suddenly stopped working
-
Everything was working smooth and the page were online and fully working. Then my ISP had some outages and internet was down for 2 hours. When it came back the website was not working any longer and I cannot even access the wordpress admin board. Even if IP was changed I use duckdns.org and it is updated and should work.
Now I found something weird when I checked the apache2/error.log. It did not find any files at all. So I opened a terminal and wrote the sudo apachectl -S. and it says:
ServerRoot: “/etc/apache2”
Main DocumentRoot: “/var/www/html”
My wordpress is inside /var/www/html/wordpress so no wonder it is not working. I have not altered the virtualhosts config and upon checking that exact file that lies /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-default-le-ssl.conf:2) I can see it points to the right folder.
DocumentRoot /var/www/html/wordpress
So why the hell is Apache saying that the main documentroot is in var/www/html? I have not changed anything and I have restarted apache and the PC several times. Nothing is working. Everything was working before the outage and now Apache thinks my wordpress is inside the html folder.
