My WordPress site is incredibly slow…

I did a search, and I realize that “slow loading” wordpress pages is a common complaint. WordPress has never run lightning fast for me, but just recently I’ve noticed a considerable slowdown. And, it’s not just isolated in one part of my site.

As for the admin panel, it takes up to one hour just to attempt to write a post. Sometimes it never loads at all. Logging in takes a good fifteen minutes to a half hour.

I’d love to troubleshoot, but since I can’t even access my admin panel (because it takes so long), I don’t know how to go about fixing things. It’s so weird, because it just started doing this. Earlier this week, things ran as normal. I haven’t made any changes during that time.

Anybody got any ideas? I don’t have a lot of knowledge about this kind of stuff, so any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
