My wordpress site Can't Communicate with External Sites : timeout error

    Having an issue I can’t resolve that involves external access. Basically every feature of my WordPress installation that involves outside communication fails.

    For example, on the dashboard RSS feeds, I get this:

    RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: connect() timed out!

    When I try to search for plugins, I get this:

    An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    Please help!!

  • Hi, this looks like a firewall issue/server issue check with the hosting provider to see what is going on.
