My wordpress post/pages will only save once then it gets stuck for a while

    I click the “update”/save button on a page/post.
    It saves, then I get a server error when i try to load any page on the website. The update button will be faded and unclickable.

    This problem lasts for about 20 or so min, then the website is fine.
    It is hosted on a chinese server (i’m in usa,) I asked my client in china to try saving a post/page and he doesn’t get this problem.

    Can anyone understand what’s happening here and if there is a fix?

    I can’t seem to reproduce the server error anymore. It just gets stuck loading for that duration of time. I discovered some new info though.
    After I saved it and got it stuck in chrome. I opened the website in firefox. It wasn’t stuck in firefox, so I tried saving it in firefox, then it became stuck in firefox.

    It seems the way it gets stuck after saving it, is based on the browser more than the ip. Which is odd, since the problem doesn’t happen in China.

    Is there some problem I may have on my pc?

    It’s possible, do you still encounter the problem with all of your browser add-ons or extensions disabled?

    If you do still encounter the problem, try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    well, i went to try it on another pc. It happens there too. It may be plugins, i’ll try that.

    yes it’s a plugin. now to figure out which out of 27 it is haha thanks for the suggestion.
