    Weird, maybe the problem because of there is a connection problem between your site and wp.org when downloading BWP.
    For now, please log in to FTP or open file manager in your cPanel and delete/ rename folder backwpup`in your root_website/wp-content/plugins
    Hope that help you ??

    Hello, thank you very much. I renamed the folder and it works now again. I appreciate your help.

    Hello, I just had the same problem. The error message is similar but not exactly as above. Would your instructions still apply? And if so, how should the folder be renamed? I’ve never done this step before!

    Warning: require_once(D:\Hosting\10429781\html\wp-content\plugins\backwpup\vendor/composer/autoload_real.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\Hosting\10429781\html\wp-content\plugins\backwpup\vendor\autoload.php on line 5

    @krisenglish,
    Could you please tell me when did you get the issue?
    Thanks!

    Yes, it was right after downloading a plugin (Contact 7). I found directions somewhere to rename the plugins folder (plugin_old), went back to the site and the white screen was gone. I don’t think the problem was backwpup, just a coincidence that backing up was my next step after the download.

    Thanks for following up!
