I want to make a change to one of my widgets and I was able to do this previously though now it is not displaying under Appearance > Widgets

The widget still shows up on the site, it is just no longer available for me to edit.

Any ideas what I can do?

    Thanks!

Someone else made my site and I have two templates, one for all of the main widgets and one with custom html to replicate the look of the widgets on the right side, though it is wider so I can place larger images in them. Are these not technically widgets? Where would I go to customize the content that resides in the larger customized widgets?
I am also using a plugin that allows me to decide which pages I want the widgets to display.

    Thanks!

    Start with the custom template(s).

The thing is, I never had to download any of the .php pages and make changes there. There was another way for me to insert code that linked to the images within the area designated for my widget.

Any ideas. I could have sworn it was an additional side bar that showed up. Almost positive. So I had my original side bar, and then a new section underneath it for alt sidebar where I dragged over code widgets, and now that is no longer available for me to edit.

    Thanks.

If this was a custom build, no here will know how it works. So your best bet is to contact the original developer.

Where can I find a developer to assist me with some modifications to my existing site. I want someone who really knows PHP and WordPress.

    Thanks.
