My website won't send out emails to new users

    Hey.

    I got a problem with my site when a person wants to register a new user. For some reason my site won’t send out a email to them. However I as a admin will recieve a email with information that a new user have registered. The person registering will also be able to hit the “lost password” button and access their new user that way. I have installed the “theme my login” plugin and some features in Jetpack which I believe may customize parts of the user features, however I’m not sure if the problem is due to either of these hence why I post it here in the general area. My theme is also Gridsby Pro.

    Do anyone have any idea what can cause this?

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s). – switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thanks for your suggestion. I haven’t tried that. The problem though is that the website is live and is getting quite a lot of traffic at the moment and deactivating everything would ruin their experience of the site. I guess I ideally should have tested it better before launching it, but that’s too late now. I will therefore wait to see if anyone else have experienced the same issue and if so what they did to solve it before I try shutting off everything.
