My website went down relating to database lost i think

and just for the record when i try to open my site its showing a list of my folders in server and under that there is a text saying ”Apache Server at https://www.rahmoorg.com Port 80” so how is that problem to be fixed thanks again…

It appears that most of your WordPress files are missing. I see the directories, but almost all of the files are gone.

With the exception of any images or media you have uploaded (which should be in the /wp-content folder, your content is stored in the WordPress database, not in your files and folders.

@amfisse, seemed like most of the core files are missing. The problem might be you accidentally deleted or something wrong with the file transfer.

My suggestion is if you have contract with web development for your site, notify them as soon as you can.
or If you build your self, backup the theme folder, plugin folder(main plugin folder) and database. Install the fresh WordPress and copy and pasted the backup file to the same directories.

If you happened to change the site url for fresh install, change the url of wp_options table (wp_ might be depend on the prefix you choosed) where column name is ‘siteurl’ and ‘home’.

@amfisse, I forget to mention about your images of your site. it is normally under wp-content/uploads. Thx to @claytonjames, I almost forgot about images ??

@kaugko, the thing is I don’t have any backup database but i do have all the directories of my site, but i think this won’t work without getting the origianal database, Im new to this whole world of web creating or developing what so ever, so i built by myself so im quite a little understanding how this works but sometimes things may get really bad tension between me and this site. It all begin when i tried to run my bluehost account to host another domain as a Addon domain then i installed a new wordpress to that addon domain so i don’t know how things went wrong with my old one, i tried to open but all that appears on my screen was directories so i looked up the database but it was gone there was no database so i thought the new wordpress installation made overwriting to my old database, but now looks like i have no other option to make another newly installation, but luckly i found my old contents and pages and posts all of them so now all i have to do is to rebuild them, actually i installed a new wordpress and my old theme and plugins so now the only thing to do is to put contents inside the web, but I really do appreciate the time you guys took to reply my post and try to help me I really thank you guys, God bless ya…
