my website pages don’t display

I think I made a BIG mistake! I tried to transfer my wordpress core to a new directory separate from my blog. I changed it through Settings -> General. I panicked because I got so many errors after creating the directories and moved the respective files there. In fact I couldn’t remember everything, all the steps that I did. The bottom line is, my pages now won;t display. I can access the the dashboard, but not the website,

Here are some steps I can still remember that I did:

1. I changed the index.php to include the new directory in the require(‘./wp-blog-header.php’); line. but since it didn;t work fine, I changed it back to original setting.

2. I changed writing permission to my .htaccess so when I re-saved my new permalinks, it would update automatically.

3. I brought everything back to to original directory setup since my intention to separate my worpress files from my blog files didn’t work fine.

After changing everything back, my website becomes inaccessible.

What to do now? I’m devastated.
