    Also, when I search the contents of my website on my server, I can’t find an index.html I can only find index.php ?

    What do you mean by you searched the contents of your website? WordPress is a PHP framework so the core files will operate under the .php extension.

    Looks fine to me, have you moved the file to and from the Public folder and changed the database settings.

    Thanks for your responses! @andrew, okay that makes more sense about php. I am new to this and really only understand basic html. I suppose that the index.php file is not loading correctly?

    @prorank I started to read that article. I will give it a closer look and try to understand it.

    The website that appears now at https://www.JesseMelanson.com is my OLD website. My NEW site that I was working on is the clunky page at https://www.jessemelanson.com/jessejosephart This is the page that I am trying to restore. It does not let me enter the wordpress dashboard…

    My WP Content folder is empty…Why would this disappear? Should I upload my themes content back here?

    Are you having this same conversation in multiple places? I can’t tell if the new thread you opened is regarding the same issue. It looks like it is. If it is please keep it to one thread.
