My website is not visible online

  • Hello every one, Two weeks i registered for a domain name with https://www.domain.co.za and i got https://www.wozamzansi.co.za I managed to manually install wordpress on their servers , however my website is still not visible. I have called them several times asking them what the problem is , they keep on telling me that i have to wait. Yesterday i just told them to cancel my hosting plan with them so as i can transfer my domain to other hosting companies. However i am worried i didn’t delete the old database in their c-panel and now i can log in their cpanel to change the database and delete it.

    We can’t help you with that, however, a database on their servers should not affect a new site on a different host. Chances are they’ll delete it anyway.

    What you DO need to do is be sure that the domain name is transferred correctly and/or that the nameservers for that domain name are set to your new hosting company.
