My Website has Vanished?

  • We lost access to our website about a week or two ago, its a business website, our customers can make table bookings via our website. I’m still receiving emails ‘daily reports’ to show that we have no bookings but, I can’t access the website at all? Not even via back office is loading. What has happened?! We spent a lot of money on our website and it’s literally vanished. WordPress please help!

    A few suggestions to start investigating the issue:

    1-Check to see if you have a backup copy of your files and database of your website from before the “disaappearance”.

    2-contact domain name registrar – ask if your domain name is still owned and properly connected to webhosting account?

    3-contact webhosting vendor – ask if your account is still active?
    a-if you can access your webhosting account, check around to see what is in your file manager area and database area
    b-if you are not sure how to find the file manaager and database area, please ask the support team of your webhosting vendor to show you the location in your account

    4- if you are still recieving reports from booking service, maybe that is a 3rd party service that is separate from your website
