i had a website designed by brainhost thinking i would at least have the basics and then i could make changes to make it mine. i have never created a website before. i first chose my theme which is gommero with the hot air balloons. my website is ‘www.livingtheabundantlife.com’. i have tried to ad a title where it says logo which has not worked. i don’t know how to add any content to my website. all the posts that were originally there plus a couple i wrote yesterday are in the posts area, but i don’t know how to add them. i am just totally stuck. maybe i chose the wrong theme, but this is the one i really want. is there someone willing to help me. i have downloaded tons of ‘how to build a website’ info but it just confuses me more. i learn more by step by step than by reading.

when brainhost designed my website they gave me my login to my website at wordpress. this is my wordpress login [redacted – never, ever post login info on a public forum]

First, please do not post in all caps – it’s considered yelling. Second, do not ever post login info on a public forum – it’s a good way to get your site hacked.

Is that correct? That is a WP site.

grannyrosey? Could you please focus on one existing topic and not create new ones that are identical to this topic?

Duplicate topics make it harder for people to help you and I’ve deleted that duplicate. Can you explain what the problem is that your having?

If you’re looking for a book then I can recommend “WordPress for Dummies, 5th Edition” (you’ll have to use a search engine, I don’t like posting store links here). The author is very well regarded in the WordPress community and that book may help you get started with WordPress.

I don’t know what you mean by create new ones that are identical. I’m very sorry if I am not as knowledgeable as I should be and I have no money for a book right now.
