• I’m currently using the “Image Attributes Pro – Lifetime” plugin and my experience has been quite mixed.

On my first website, it works wonderfully. It’s user-friendly and greatly improves my website’s SEO. It’s definitely a valuable tool for any website.

However, I’ve encountered several issues using it on my second website. I’ve tried using the bulk update feature, updating posts, and uploading new images, but none of these actions have been successful. I’ve consulted the documentation and attempted various settings, but nothing seems to work.

    ——
I made a mistake and select the “default value” of “Use custom attribute”.for example Use custom attribute :  ” %filename% – %posttitle%

However, in reality, it is empty. ( it is a place holder)

    Now, the issue was solved.

    Hello @lacostechiu

That is unfortunate. I reply to all customer emails. Sometimes they are delayed, but not delayed by a month normally.

We had multiple conversations in May, however I can’t find one in June. Can you please resend them? Let’s get it sorted asap.

I truly appreciate your support through the purchase of the lifetime license. Thank you.

Fortunately, this issue was later resolved. It turned out that email was lost. The subsequent customer support was incredibly swift and professional.

The root of the problem was my misunderstanding of the placeholder value; I mistook it for a default value when, in fact, it was empty. After correcting this, the plugin operated perfectly.

I’m upgrading my review to a full five stars. ^^

    Hello again @lacostechiu

To avoid the confusion you had regarding placeholders, I am adding two minor improvements for the next version (unreleased as of now, coming soon).

    1. Lighten the placeholder text so that it goes to the background.
    2. Added e.g. to the placeholder itself so that it’s more evident that it’s an example, not the real thing.

Hopefully that will help others not face the same issue ever again.

    Best regards.
