I like the pink and blue, its a good look. Plus the comments is nice. quick to load due to the nature of the design.

Good stuff

I have a daughter who would like this theme. For some reason I like a strong header to anchor the blog. Absent of such a header I often feel like I “stumbled” onto someone’s personal notes rather than a blog. I know that sounds silly, but it is the impression I get. My 15 year old really likes icons all over and you have plenty of them. I think it stems from her love of her phone!

thanks for the feedback and input, however now one has mentioned (so I figured I would) the sliding / scrolling footer that collapses & expands (and remembers how you had it when you leave and return) and within that the ajax archives thinger allowing you to look back at posts

any insight on this?

That’s a nice, professional touch with the footer. I do see one small problem. There is supposed to be an image called “foot_top.gif” that is not appearing when the footer is expanded. Right now, it’s just an X.

Also, the link to expand it should maybe be a little more prominent – or at least the text in the link.
