I insert the mailchimp api key in wordpress mail chimp page,it show connected, any my list is showing up too.But the problem is,when I check back Mailchimp “Connected sites” my site not showing up(means my site not connected),therefore I cant enable the automation.

So here is my wordpress site running
    Wordpress version: 4.8
    php version : PHP7.0

    So far what i try:
    1) install plugin in wordpress directly
    2) insert api key to the “api-key” field
Result : No any connected sites in MailChimp dashboard, but Mailchimp setting page in WordPress is show connected, list created is showing up.

    3) delete and reinstall mailchimp plugin
    4) change php version to Php7.0
    5) Deactivate all other plugin of the site, only left Mailchimp and Woocommerce
Result : No any connected sites in MailChimp dashboard, but Mailchimp setting page in WordPress is show connected, list created is showing up.

Because of this,I can enable automation for my site.It only have this link “Requires an e-commerce v3.0 integration” under the automation options, which redirect me to the instruction which I repeat many times.

Please give me a solution to solve this and move forward. If cant connect, how can I use this plugin?

  • Hi @kenchoong,

Thanks for reaching out. That sounds unexpected and I’d love to take a closer look and see what’s going on. In order to get started, could you please reply back here with you WooCommerce System Status report and any errors you have logged on your end that are MailChimp for WooCommerce specific? That will allow us to see the full theme and plugin set up you’re working with.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately,my Woocommence system status is blank.Dont have any data show up..I just notice there are 2 mailchimp plugin here.Which is MailChimp for WooCommerce and MailChimp for WordPress. I just install the MailChimp for WordPress there for I cant get it done. Now my site running ok with MailChimp for WooCommerce. This is quite confusing,I hope MailChimp can mention this out in your docs.So far I ok right now, thanks

    Hi again,

Thanks for updating us @kenchoong! Yes, those two plugins will conflict – I will be sure to pass this feedback along internally. Please let us know if you need any help in the future.

    Warm Regards,

    Pearl

    @mcsupport @kenchoong,

Just to let you know I had same problem with those plugins.

With the ‘Mailchimp for WordPress’ plugin: there was no connection in my Mailchimp backoffice, however I had the ‘Connected’ signal in the WordPress backoffice.

With the ‘Mailchimp for WooCommerce’ plugin: there is no problem.

    Best regards,

    Bart
