My sitemap looks fine but google keeps sending me lots of 404 errors

I GET HUNDREDS OF 404 ERRORS AT GOOGLE WEBMASTERS ACCOUNT, ALL OF WHICH ARE THE SAME KIND OF ERROR:
MAIN SITE FULL URL/BLOG FULL URL : this is an actual example from google.
https://www.irregularspanishverbs.com/www.irregularspanishverbs.com/blog/category/imperfect/
obviously, it should just be
https://www.irregularspanishverbs.com/blog/category/imperfect/
Can somebody please tell me why google are etting these errors?
