    Hi,

    I created a HTML sitemap for my website but now it is a post instead of a regular page. What could be the problem?

    @casfr12 behind the scenes the HTML sitemap works somewhat like a virtual post. I’m assuming there is conflict here between the dedicated HTML Sitemap feature and your theme.

    It might work better if remove the dedicated HTML Sitemap page from HTML Sitemap settings, then simply create a new page yourself with sitemap as the slug and then add our HTML Sitemap block inside of it. That will get you the exact same result as the dedicated page would.

    In that case I’d suggest temporarily switching to a different theme and deactivating your other plugins (and then reactivating them one by one) to see if you narrow this behaviour down to your theme or any other plugin you are using.
