• Hi.

My site is disabled by my host because it was hacked.

They gave me a list of 6000 files I need to delete but won’t help me any more than that.

What do I do? Most of these files are original WordPress files that comes after a fresh WordPress install. How can I re-upload such files? Will my site look like before after re uploading the files or do I need to design it again?

    This is the list: https://one-docs.com/tools/pastebin/mzSyrsmx.txt

Ok, so I just deleted my entire site and did a fresh install of WordPress. How do I connect this fresh install to my old database?

@mangekyousharingan You would just need to re-upload, or re-create, the wp-config.php file in your WordPress installation’s root directory. If you don’t have a backup of the old wp-config.php, then a sample version is available here: wp-config-sample.php just be sure to rename it to wp-config.php once you have filled out the necessary database, database username, database username password, and the database server.

It’s important to *NOT* re-install WordPress onto this database, but simply use the correct wp-config.php. If you re-install then you run the risk of overwriting your existing database and will be stuck with an entirely fresh installation of WordPress.
