My Site takes 21 seconds to load

  • I’m designing a website for a client, and I’m having issues loading the website. After it’s loaded, it doesn’t take long, but the initial load takes over 20 seconds :/

    I know very little about website optimization, so I was wondering if you all could help.

    Plugins:
    – Duplicate Page Version 4.2
    – Duplicator Version 1.3.36
    – Elementor Version 2.9.14
    – Elementor Pro Version 2.10.3
    – Limit Login Attempts Reloaded Version 2.15.1

    I assume the issue is the economy hosting plan, but I’m not sure.

  • You can try using caching and minify (HTML, CSS, JS) plugins such as WP Super Cache, W3 Total cache etc plugins. These can greatly improve loading time even with the use of CDNs.

    First thing… https://demo.contact360.com/ doesn’t exist… there’s no DNS info.

    https://demo.contact360.ca/ loaded just fine for me but did take a while to load.

    You’ll want to talk to GoDaddy about that.

    Your images I looked at are huge… That probably slows things down a bit.

    You are using Elementor also… that adds a bit of HTML overhead that is probably slowing things down a bit.

    GoDaddy’s Economy hosting usually runs just fine for a small site. I don’t think that is your problem.

    @jnashhawkins Whoops, typo on the link, it’s supposed to be .ca

    I compressed the demo images a bit, and I’ll try some of the other suggestions!
