    Hello guys, good day.

I having problem with my blog site now. Just this year, I registered an account which is Free Hosting. I go to my Control Panel>Addon Domain and created a “shengton.co.cc”. Then after a week I created a subdomain for may blog site which is under my site name “blog.shengton.co.cc”. So far after creating a subdomain I got no problem encounter but now when I type my blog site it will redirect me to this site “mybookface.net”.

So I Googled and searched around here regarding my problem and found some few reasons it says:
    1. Maybe one of the servers of byethost is down.
    2. Maybe the site is suspended
    3. Maybe some bad codes
    4. Maybe contains illegal warez.

My blog site is clean, I don’t have any illegal warez uploaded in my File Manager or posted in my blog. My account as well is not suspended since I can access my Control Panel.

For my site “shengton.co.cc” I used Joomla 1.5 and for my “blog.shengton.co.cc” I used WordPress 2.7. I just installed the Joomla for a month now without installing or modifying files. I prioritize my blog since this is my leisure time when I get bored.

Here are the list of extensions that I installed in my WordPress:
    1. .html on PAGES
    2. AJAX Random Posts
    3. Akismet
    4. All in One SEO Pack
    5. Automatic Timezone
    6. Current Date & Time Widget
    7. Quick Subscribe
    8. Search Engine query in WordPress
    9. SEO friendly and HTML valid subheadings
    10. SEO Friendly Images
    11. SEO Slugs
    12. Subscribe2
    13. Subscribe2 Counter Widget
    14. TinyMCE Advanced
    15. WP-UserOnline
    16. WP-UserOnline Widget
    17. WP Super Cache

Can anyone help me with this problem. Hope to read your replies guys.

Take care and God bless. ??

Sorry Sir, because my connection that time is disconnected I thought it was not posted.

Kindly just locked my first post. I’ll just post here the solution.

Finally I found the culprit. It’s the RSS widget that I put in my sidebar.

    URL RSS Feed: http://feedproxy.google.com/Ghacksnet

    This is what I did:
I disabled all my plugins and yes it gets back to normal but I got a problem with my site view. Then I noticed something in my sidebar2 that the “www.mybookface.net” is there in my RSS widget. So I tried to remove the RSS widget and viola my blog site is back to normal.

    Hope this help guys.

    Take care and God bless.

    works just fine, no redirections.
Maybe your computer is infected … I once had a virus, back in my windows days, where my browser was “hijacked” and pointed me to wherever it pleased … but kept the sites looking normal.

Just saying that your blog is not the issue.

I had same problem for last 2 days which my free hosting site https://genbii.web44.co.cc was redirected to mybookface site.

The problem solved after unpublished newly added articles from the site. I’m using joomla 1.5 and my computer is XP, with chrome browser 1.0. So is not about DNS flush, virus, site hijack, or whatever. It something about words that you used in your articles. Some word maybe restrictly prohibited by the free web hosting provider.

The question still not answered is why the redirecting to mybookface?

At this time, I had a same case….
    Does anyone can help??

This is a common thing with the free hosting accounts,
some sort of marketing strategy, this is, from the freehosting sites.
To get the ws back you must open another account and go to its cpanel.
create a new ticket and ask for removing the suspension of your account.
