My site isn't updating after making changes

  • When making changes, the changes appear on the page when on the dashboard, but when looking at the live page after updating, its not there.

    Also, when working on a page in the dashboard, I’ll click view page to see updates. It will take me to the page to see that the page has not updated, but it has also removed the dashboard links so I can’t access my dashboard anymore.

    I have just uploaded the WP Fastest Cache plugin because I figured it would speed up my site from being so slow. And it did, but could it have caused the current problem?

  • When cache is on, the time that a page was created is on the last line of the markup. Control-U in Chrome. Ensure this time is after the time of your last change. Or just turn off cache while developing.
