My site isn't loading — any ideas why this would be?

  • So my site doesn’t seem to be loading — Does anyone have any idea why this might be? I’m guessing it’s likely a hosting issue? (I’m with the dreaded GoDaddy) I don’t think I’ve ever had this problem before, and it’s just popped up in the past couple of hours. Many thanks for any help you can give!     MY site loaded for you? Hmmmm. Any idea why it would for you and not for me? (Everything else is loading fine for me — Facebook, this forum, gmail, etc) Also, GoDaddy forums say they are experiencing some problems at the moment, looking into them . . .

    FWIW, not loading for me – but if you have not done anything and GD is having problems, yeah, probably waiting a while may be the best course of action.

    EDIT – after a long time, finally got an “Internal Server Error” – which is GD…sigh.

    Sorry to jump in but I was in the middle of writing a post and suddenly got an http error, then kicked out and when I try and log in as admin I get a Page Not Found error. My whole blog is gone. I’m on godaddy as well. Might this be the same thing?

    It’s loading slow for me, with constant refreshes that refer to facebook.com.

    I think GoDaddy is having an outage — I’ve been crowdsourcing the issue on Twitter & people are reporting problems with their GodDaddy sites as well.
    If anyone gets any intelligence on what’s going on, please do share!

    Yep, cathd80, we generally discourage “jumping in,” but in this case, it really sounds like a GD problem. Amy, is that an intended typo “GodDaddy?” LOL :)!

    HAH! Typo, yes. Hope it’s not construed as a Freudian slip.

    And <Sigh> Well, I guess I’ll check back after my Sunday TV shows. Fingers crossed it won’t last too long. Thanks everyone! : )

    Ack! I’m still down. : (

    Hi I’m having the same problems with my site is has happend before and Go daddy said everything was fine their end.

    The site is very slow loading when it does load and sometimes not all the page come up on the homepage.

    Any ideas PLEASE!
