My site is offline when I try to access the admin page

You may have to speak with your host provider, as you know you cannot run the install script if your site is down. ??

What use are accessing with this https://www.my-site.com/wp-admin/install.php. This file used for WordPress installation that you have already installed.

You can access backend of your site like this https://www.my-site.com/wp-admin

check your wp-confing.php file

Please check your site https://www.my-site.com/wp-admin , is it opening ? if it is not then contact hosting support

Have you changed the nameservers?Are the nameservers pointing to your host.

I would probably suggest just contacting your web host as if you used their script. Then they should be able to workout what went wrong and fix it.

Check your wp-config.php file. If you want to access the WordPress admin dasboard, then go to yoursite.com/wp-login.php. Here you will need to insert your admin credentials ( user and password ). If you don’t remember them, click on “Lost password” and insert your e-mail. After log in, you will access your admin dashboard on this link: yoursite.com/wp-admin

If the problem persist and this installation is a fresh one, I suggest to remove it and reinstall again, by following the right steps.
