My site is getting very slow, do I need to update it?

    Your theme is very optimized for me and my blog. But there is one HELP I may need to ask you. I have got theme update notification since so long but I never attempted it. And recently my site is getting very slow.

    Is there any way to update my theme without losing my previous theme customization?

    The updates don’t bring anything new to performance, if your site is running slow, it may be your hosting or other settings/plugins.

    As for updating and not losing customizations, that’s impossible if you haven’t used a child theme. Sorry!
