My site is blank??

I’m very new to wordpress, programming etc. and it’s turning out to be more difficult than I thought. I want a simple white blog.

I’ve tried about 10 different minimalistic, simple themes now, but I don’t find any of them to be simple to edit or understand.

I tried a theme called upstart-blogger something witch I had uploaded, but it wasn’t working with the post I had already made. When I tried to change the theme back to one of the ones I found on wordpress itself, my site went blank – and so did my wordpress admin site. I have tried to restart my computer and firefox, but they are still blank. Can anyone help?
