My site is a blank white screen. My host says it is Header issue. What do I do?
-
Did you update your site?
I updated it last week. The site went blank in the last 24 hours. I checked my updates and it says I am using the newest version of twenty eleven.
It could be a pluggin that is not compatible. It is odd that it took a weak to die on you though. You can test by deactivating plugins until your issue is solved or plugins are ruled out as the problem. Should not do this in production though you could possibly loose data.
Wait did you only update the theme and not the core files?
I “downloaded the latest version of wordpress” last week. But it has been fine until today.
The site is showing up now but the header is jibberish.
What is the url
Did you do anything or did it just come back
wetness.org
My host looked at it and that is what happened after they were done.
Don’t know if that is why it shows up now.
would you mind if I logged into your site? If not then send me the header.php code and whatever file you are using for your home page. It is most likely index.php unless you are using a template for the home page.

Nope. Good try though. I fixed one problem but created another.
What if I just update my wordpress? Wouldn’t that just update everything and revert it back to original?
If it was my site I would backup everything including database and then update all files. Be careful during all updates.
