My site has stucked on homepage

  • When i tried to navigate to other pages like about us the url is changed like domain.com/about-us, but it is stuck on the home page. Can anyone help regarding on this issue ?

    I tried to:
    – disabled all the 3rd plugins
    – changed to default theme.
    but still having this issue, but if i changed the permalinks to page id then it works fine.

    Looks like you just fixed this? Seems ok, with each link going to a different page.

    hi jason, the problem is still exist. Especially from home page to other pages.

    Had to click around a bit more to find links that didn’t work. But here’s the odd thing… it’s not consistent.

    Whilst on the home page I clicked “updates” and saw the blog page. Went back to the home page, repeated the action and saw the home page instead.

    Your domain is https://mdredz-001-site3.smarterasp.net/ – is that running on Windows IIS? If so, I’m wondering whether the server software is making permalinks problematic.

    If it was Apache, it’d probably work ok because that’s a more natural fit for WordPress.

    Can anyone else here confirm that’s a possibility?
