my site has evaporated

  • I installed this plugin fiftteen minutes ago. When I tried to activate it I got the following error message.

    Fatal error: Class ‘BP_Group_Extension’ not found in /home2/tommyt/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-group-chat/includes/bp-tinychat-group-chat-core.php on line 31

    I tried to access other pages to delete the plugin/ address the fatal error in editor but all I got and get is. I have tried to ftp into the site and all the files have gone. I have tried using the hosts file manager and the same applies. Nothing is visible except an empty CGI bin.

    No, there is no backup and there is a lot of work missing. I had no problem with my site until this happened.

    Thanks. I have recovered the situation. Rediscovered my site, backed up all plugins, deleted them and reinstalled and removed the problem plugin.
