My site has crashed!

  • Please help!
    I un-installed wp page widget as instructued within the plugin – all went fine.
    When I wanted to install the next plugin, as soon as I pushed the install button, my site crashed! I got the following messgage:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare pbt_widget_login() (previously declared in /hermes/bosweb/web141/b1414/ipg.gondishapur/bemache/wp-content/themes/magazine-basic/widgets/widget_login.php:3) in /hermes/bosweb/web141/b1414/ipg.gondishapur/bemache/wp-content/themes/magazine-basic/widgets/widget_login.php on line 28

    Restoring a prior folder hasn’t helped the situation. Could someone please explain why?

    Please do us a favor by not double posting. It does not help.
    By keeping backup you need both database and files, generally.

    Isn’t double posting something is saying the same thing in two or more posts? I just had to explain my point. I absolutely didn’t do anything unusual and my site was fine for many days before using this plugin. I uninstalled it and this happened. Thanks for your comment anyway.

    by the way, from the looks of it, it must be a great plugin. But what I said is the truth.
