• Google has reported my blog https://ibchem.com/faq/ to be hacked.

It returns many pages with addresses of a sexual nature of the general form https://ibchem.com/faq/?some_porn_name

The blog ok to me, i.e. the pages do not have any dodgy content and when I input the hacked links I just get the home page.

Does anyone have any advice as to where in the database I can find this list of dodgy urls. I’m not very good at MYSQL, but am prepared to browse through it (as I have done), however, the database is very large and I really don’t know what I’m looking for.

In terms of security I am running the latest WP4.2.1, I have akismet and have selected no new users. I have a very strong p/w recently set.

I really do not know where to go from here. Clearly if I don’t take action then google is going to blackball the site.

    Help! Please!

  • I am sorry to hear your site is damaged. Do you or your hosting company have a full backup of your site? The fastest and most sure way to repair your site is to restore from a backup made before the hack.

Without a backup your only solution is to repair the site. Follow this guide.

When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.
