So i have observed that its something to do with the contents, i imported them using updraft into another site and same issue happened, so now am starting afresh, 2,800 posts gone. Thanks

I am starting afresh and just tried creating my first post, i got this error: There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. but when i refresh it continues and publishes the post, whats going on?

Hey @gospelmediaspace ! Do you have access to any error logs on your web host? If not, please try enabling WP_DEBUG and see if you’re able to get information about any errors.

I would also recommend setting up a local site for testing this. You can export your content using Tools > Export, and then import your posts in that local WordPress. Once you have the local site with your content, please install only the classic editor plugin, and test the same steps. This will help figure out if the issue is in your content, or on your web host.

Hi gospel, I have the exact same problem as you where when I use the classic editor plugin it can take more than 2 minutes and after deactivating it it runs smoothly, after I read all your complaints it turns out I also feel the same thing, then do you have you found the solution?

I have a news portal website so it is very risky if I take the wrong action which causes the news to disappear, so I have to be very careful but this is the problem, hopefully I can get help soon from the relevant team
