my site doesnt remember i am logged in

    after logging in to my wordpress site as admin, and getting to my dashboard, if I make a post, or page and then try to view it by going to the main page , it then shows “log in” on the meta not ” site admin” , the site doesn’t remember I am logged in . so I log in again , am taken to the dashboard , after following the top left link to view site (again) it doesn’t remember that I am logged in.

    this is a new reinstall with a new database , imported posts and pages , then reinstalled all the plugins I used before

    Actions Tried

    1) I have FTP’d in … deleted and reinstalled
    wp-includes
    wp-admin

    2) reinstall or name change of
    .htaccess
    doesn’t seem to make any difference other than the theme not loading

    3) clearing cookies and cache makes no difference

    4) checked my other website for issue ….I have another WP site on my own server here in my office, it doesn’t have this problem , I uploaded both sites from the same zip file.. the site in question is at godady , but I didn’t have this problem with the old install

    5) Checked with another computer
    Same problem with another computer here in the office

    6) logging in with another site admin account, same issue

    7) This happens in Firefox 3.6.3
    and
    Microsoft IE 8

    I figured out what the problem was … I have 2 domains that point to the page, .com and .info, one is hosted at godady one is not ( the website is hosted with godady) , when I changed the address to the domain that is hosted with godady (.info) , it works , I get the meta link “site admin” , when I list it with the .com it asks to be logged in again , I hope that makes sense and helps someone else with this same problem … lol been working on this for a few days now .. even turning off all the plugins was of no use . I found if I shut down the browser altogether and came back in through my favorites or the history I was still logged in as admin , but as soon as I followed the link off the dashboard I was logged out… now problem solved …

    go to settings off the dashboard , make sure you have the correct address listed for the site… domain the hosting service hosts
