    Hi,

    Did you try the predefined settings when you select Lite Mode?

    You can test the login page before confirming the new setup to make sure the login page loads. You can also check the login page with a different browser.

    I see that you use CloudFlare, it’s better if you set the developer mode in Cloudflare to make sure the cache is not active. And also purge the cache if you have any cache plugin.

    One more thing.

    After you setup Hide My WP, try changing the permission for .htaccess to read-only to make sure the rules are not removed by other plugins.

    For Linux, change the .htaccess permission to 0444

    Yes I did all that, the htacess is 0444 permission as we speak, I will need your help. I sent you a mail or can you provide your support mail let me contact you? I purge all cache but still the problems still there… But once I rename the plugin from my cpanel, everything will work well… But once is up to 6 to 8 hours the site won’t load again…

    And also your plugin generates two (2) different sets of .htaccess codes, why is it like that? i was thinking that is the plugin with my site?

    Hi,

    We added the rewrite rules also in the WordPress area because some plugins remove the rules outside the WordPress rules and some websites don’t have the WordPress rules. You can set in wp-config.php to have only one set of rules:

    define('HMW_RULES_IN_WP_RULES', false);

    Make sure you have set AllowOverride all in Apache for your website directory.
    https://hidemywpghost.com/kb/how-to-set-allowoverride-all/

    If you have the rules set in .htaccess, AllowOverride set to ALL and 0444 rights, it should work.

    We didn’t receive any email on [email protected] from you. Can you please send us again?

    Thank you, John
